Chapter 4 : Leaving a Legacy

The best 4 years of my life concluded in such a flash. It was forever a blessing to wear the blue on blue with pride. I couldn’t imagine a life without the support and wisdom from my teammates both past and present, my family, coaches, best friends, and this community. Oak Park holds a special place in my heart for the history that was created. The wins, losses, triumph, and heartbreak, were all learning experiences for the next level.

There is not much left to say, other than thank you for everything. I’m heartbroken that the journey had to end, and never thought I’d actually see this day. I gave it everything I had to this program, pouring blood, sweat, and tears into every single day to get better. I hope that my drive and passion for this game showed both on and off the field.

I will forever appreciate every single one of you who have had an impact on my life. The rocket still flies, just with 1 engine now broken away. Forever and always, an oak park northmen. Cheers to the next novel.
