This video is from December 2024 a few days before @official_dick_van_dyke 99th birthday. I shipped him a copy of the Child Catcher mask as a birthday gift and his wife Arlene presented it to him and made sure she had a video filmed for me. This is a shorter version of that video. I’m posting this again to remind the world what a treasure Dick Van Dyke is. He turned 100 last December and I shipped him one of my Phantom of the Opera masks. This December for his birthday I’m not sure what monster mask I’ll send him, but I’m sure it’ll be something good! I really think the @theacademy southward him an honorary Oscar. He’s one of the last Hollywood legends that’s still with us! Let’s hear it for DVD!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️#dickvandyke #legend #love #movies #hollywood

Introducing @_ewanpurser05 as Bert and Christina's vintage wedding dress as Mary's Jolly Holiday dress.

With thanks to @mercurytheatrecolchester wardrobe dept for the lend of my hat and Bert's blazer and shoes.

To Dean @shadowstone_crafts for saving the day with dress alterations and a LAST MINUTE cummerbund.

To Kirsta @textilecollectiveuk for getting me started on the plan for alterations.

To Lindsey for lending me the gorgeous goose and big sheep. To the Vinted sellers for sending the rest of the farmyard so quickly!

To @creativecolchester and the First Thursdays festival for inviting me...again.

To @notcamerondiaz17 for championing local talent.

To @Popinabarcolchester for hosting and looking after me so well.

Special thanks to @louloupurser for making a hay bale out of a blanket box, for being my dresser during my quick change and generally being an external hard drive for my brain on the day!

I feel like I could fly...☂️

Thank you for helping me bring this gorgeous new element to my act!

And finally, the most special element of this new act is being able to use the boater that was SO much part of my late father in law Reg's double act as an entertainer. Reg died aged 99 on Dick Van Dyke's 100th birthday in December.

It's an honour and a privilege to bring this iconic number to life as a tribute to two legends.

Spit Spot! 🍒

#bliss ⛺️ "When you just happen to basically exactly match the fan art portrait behind you … down to the microphone, heart glasses, Bootsy Poppins the pup and all!" says photographer Laura Johansen of ALaura Designs. 🎤💕🐾 Sometimes the universe winks, and yesterday it winked hard.

What a day. The Seafoam Circus washed ashore at Aviator Nation Dreamland, then the joy rolled up the hill to Vandy Manor for New Orleans Jazz & Bijou Box Bingo at the home of Dick & Arlene Van Dyke — hosted by our beloved Arlene with longtime friend Stu Shostak, tunes by Matt Von Roderick & his New Orleans Jazz Trio, and a surprise visit from the one and only Paula Poundstone (!!).

Every ticket helped support the future Dick Van Dyke Museum — a longtime dream of Arlene's. Our journey is just beginning. ✨

And this is just a preview... more photos on the way. 📸

We always knew Norway was magical, but finding a one-man-band in the style of Bert from Mary Poppins on the streets of Trondheim was extra special for Norway’s National Day! Atlas asked if he really was @official_dick_van_dyke 🎠☂️🦯
