Elsa, my wife and myself would like to say thank you to everyone that has impacted Elsa’s life, recovery and in the efforts to finally find a new home with our family. We didn’t realize how many people that have been moved by her strength, love and desire to be happy. Thank you to @sgtpeppersfriends for the work you do on a regular basis for all of your animals and @sjtrayner for their efforts to show everyone how to train with a deaf dog.

A very heartfelt and emotional thank you to aunt @valsdogtalesaruba for the amount of work and time that she and her family have put into Elsa’s recovery. We met Val while volunteering and she noticed how Kris constantly was gravitating towards Elsa.

What we didn’t say is we lost our blue nose pitbull Brinx before our trip and when we met Elsa we felt a soul that touched us the same way our Brinx had for 9 years. Even though we didn’t say anything, Val instinctively understood that Elsa needed us but we also needed her. We left the rescue with a feeling of regret if we were to leave Aruba without Elsa. Val took more time for us to be with Elsa at the beach and educate us on her past and what she will need in order to finish her healing.

Aruba is the most special place on earth and the people are even more incredible. Elsa now allows us to keep a part of Aruba with us every single day. We hope this page will allow everyone to enjoy Elsa’s life with our family. 🐾 🏝️ 🇦🇼

Great pic from @rednoserescues
Elsa’s story and presence has impacted so many volunteers and people all over the world with her love and beautiful soul. If there are any volunteers that have pictures from their time with Elsa we would love to feature them.

What coaching really looks like. There is someone at home who is giving up their time for me to be in the gym so players can get that work in.
I have to thank my wife @alauren27 for being supportive through all the hours put towards coaching instead of being at home. For sitting next to me on the couch while I’m on the phone with parents, players and other coaches. While I’m traveling to watch games or anything else basketball related. She’s never once said no to coaching. The basketball that we are developing would not be possible without a woman who supports it.

Thank You.

A project 10 months in the making is now complete! @helengarciahkgaruba and Gerard were the best team we could ask for from start to finish. Our dream to own a house in Aruba was made a reality. Thank you to everyone involved. Aruba has always had a special place in our hearts and @alauren27 @jleef1026 and @kristopherkelsey had an amazing journey from start to finish.

Please add @arubaconnect to check out content and our personal experiences with all of our friends and family.
