Taking a moment this #WellnessWednesday to celebrate one of our long-standing team members as she pivots away from bodywork and focuses on creating a wellness #podcast. We were inspired by this discussion on #concussionrecovery, especially the insights into the power of healing within us all. Enjoy! https://suryadeviworld.com/pages/podcast #healingispossible #mentalhealth #alternativetherapy #PowerOfHealing #success #ancientwisdom

This #EarthDay2021 we are taking a moment to look within, at the roots of our company and specifically at the #lotusflower in our branding. Massage Minute's philosophy embodies the #purity, #enlightenment, #selfregeneration and rebirth that the Lotus symbol stands for....AND further, the characteristics of this hardy flower are a perfect analogy for the human condition...ie, even when the roots of the Lotus are in the dirtiest waters, it produces the most beautiful flower. ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒท We are in a challenging time and many of us cannot begin to comprehend how the future will unfold. Regardless, our team of Lotus-inspired healers is here, patiently awaiting the day when we can #emerge and do what we do best. ##happyearthday #ChangeIsComing #weareallinthistogether #massagetherapy #chairmassage #mentalhealthmatters

The first #supersaturday of the year wraps up our 2020 review with a compilation Massage Minute team post...and today we celebrate Heather, Tia, Dan, Ruby AND April for their unique and diverse #2020accomplishments! In 2020 Tia grew her home baking skills (YUM!), Dan updated and relaunched his business (see http://danielbeavington.com/) AND worked a soon to be released song with his band https://www.huntinggiants.com/, April became a new #puppymom AND stepped into a brand new role with the #vancouvercanucks, Ruby dug deep into her pursuit of both mental and physical wellness AND Heather got ENGAGED. Whew!!! ...notable quote from April below: "2020 didn't get exciting until December 24th when we (https://www.legacieshealthcentre.ca/) learned we got the contract to work on the #vancouvercanucks but they only wanted 3 specific people....and I was one of the 3 that was picked! If all goes well in training camp we could get this contract permanently!! This is the highlight for me because it's SO HARD to break into the NHL. It's always been an all boys club until the last couple years clubs have started diversifying their hires. For 2 out of the 3 selected therapists to be women is a big deal. It may not seem like a big deal to most people but it is to us!โ€ Massage Minute sends HUGE congrats to APRIL and all of our alumni and current team...and ends this wrap up with this quote from Ruby: "May the force of love, truth, beauty and freedom be with you all in 2021!! #teamwork #goodbye2020 #weareallinthistogether #focusonthepositive #personalgrowth ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰
