What began as a vision, fueled by faith, prayer, and purpose, is now a reality!

A MIND UNDER TRUTH is officially HERE! 🎉

As a Christian Counselor, I have witnessed how the thoughts we entertain can shape the way we see ourselves, navigate life’s challenges, and experience God’s truth.

I wrote this book with one mission in mind: to help you recognize the thoughts that hold you captive and learn to renew your mind through the truth of God’s Word.

This is more than a book to me. It’s an opportunity to encourage healing, inspire transformation, and remind others that every thought does not deserve a place in their minds. Romans 12:2 reminds us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. 💕

Today, I am grateful to God for the opportunity to share this message with the world.

God and I have been working on something… and today, I finally get to share it with you! 💛

Introducing my book, A Mind Under Truth: Renew Your Thinking Through God’s Word. 📖

This book was written with a simple but powerful purpose: to encourage you to examine your thoughts, challenge the lies you’ve believed, and allow the truth of God’s Word to transform your thinking.
Throughout this book, I use the computer analogy to help illustrate the importance of examining what we’ve allowed to shape our thinking, identifying beliefs that do not align with Scripture, and replacing them with God’s truth.
My prayer is that every page reminds you that you do not have to remain bound by the thoughts that have held you captive. There is freedom, renewal, and hope in God’s truth.

I’m grateful for this journey, and even more grateful for the opportunity to share what God has placed on my heart.

Your mind is the battlefield. God’s truth is the victory. ✨

Words from @danibspeaks as we were planning the collection for Access 2026 that stuck with me.

If you would’ve told me that I would here, designing in these miraculous spaces, I most likely wouldn’t have believed you.

But I am grateful that God did. He doesn’t need you to know everything, He just needs your yes.

The Goldmark artist community currently includes many artists working in fashion design, jewelry, fabric, textile, fiber, sewing, embroidery, etc, and an introductory meet-up this month could be helpful for future collaboration and resource sharing.

Everyone who is participating should meet at the Norman Brown Gallery in Building 14001, and from there we will visit each artist's studio in turn, giving each artist a few minutes to share what they are working on. After visiting all the participating artists' studios, we can return to the garden for everyone to hang out and chat.

Artists who work in other mediums are welcome to attend this meet-up, but we will only be visiting the studios of the artists who focus on fashion design, jewelry fiber, textile, etc.

Free admission and parking.
This Thursday 9/17, 7:00pm.

Let’s talk about the Mother of the Bride look! ✨

When my daughter and I began discussing the wedding colors and what everyone would wear, I asked if she would be okay with me wearing a suit. She told me my color would be gold, and from that moment, I knew I wanted something different from the traditional Mother of the Bride attire.

I may be mature at heart, but I am still youthful, stylish, and not afraid to make a statement! When it was time to choose my look, I immediately knew I wanted Alaysha to design something custom for me—and baby, she brought the vision to life! This gorgeous gold suit made me feel like a modern-day Nubian queen. 👑✨

All evening, people kept stopping me to say, “Oh my goodness, I love your suit! Where did you get it?” Every detail—from the dramatic silhouette and wide-leg pants to the earrings I purchased years ago from a boutique—came together perfectly.

Alaysha, thank you for creating something so beautiful, unique, and perfectly me. If you want a custom piece that makes you feel confident, regal, and unforgettable, please let her bring your vision to life!

And we cannot forget the hair! My locs were styled by my amazing loctician, Nyke of Twisted Touch Loc Bar. I’ve trusted her with my hair since 2018, and she made sure the finishing touch was just right.
