I went to Sonoma thinking it would be about wine.

But what stayed with me had very little to do with what was in the glass.

It was the women.

Women who are still figuring it out.
Women building something from nothing.
Women learning to trust their voice in rooms that don’t always make space for it.

And somehow, in that space, there was no need to compete, no need to prove.
Just presence. Just honesty. Just quiet strength.

It made me realize how many of us are walking our own version of this path.
Working, questioning, rebuilding, growing... often all at once.

And maybe that’s what this journey really is.

Not becoming perfect.
But becoming more ourselves, step by step, even when it’s uncertain.

If you’re in that space right now, trying, learning, finding your way —
you’re not behind.

You’re in it.

And that’s enough.

Somewhere along the way, we’ll meet ourselves there.

Last week, I had the honor of attending the Women’s Sommelier Symposium alongside some of the most inspiring women in wine. Being selected among the top 5% of applicants was both humbling and deeply meaningful.

I arrived with some trepidation, but found a space that welcomed honesty, vulnerability, and the full reality of my experience with the Court and as a woman in this industry. What stood out most was the range of backgrounds and perspectives, all united by a shared commitment to learning, growth, and lifting others.

I’m deeply grateful to the sponsors and hosts who made this possible. Your investment extends far beyond a single weekend. It empowers leaders, strengthens our community, and helps shape a more inclusive future for wine.

Today we had a real fun wine 🍷 Sunday at the RIEDEL Experience CDMX with @maxiriedel. Possibly the largest sit-down wine tasting held in Mexico City with close together 400 people (~375 winelovers) using about 1500 wine glasses. Everyone received a tasting kit with 4 Performance wine glasses: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Maximilian guided the attendees through a tasting where he demonstrated it’s essential to do no each wine in the proper glass to have the best experience instead of killing the wine. Believe it or not, it does make a huge difference! Save water, drink wine! 😁 The 4 wines served were from California. Next he demonstrated 2 decanter, one of which with an amazing design. This year @riedel_official celebrates 270 years, now being headed by the 11th generation. If you have a chance of participating in a RIEDEL Experience, do it, it’s worth it and with Maximilian you always learn something new.
