After a year of construction we finally have a new @denieuwevorst. To celebrate this we’ve got a (free!) Housewarming this weekend. During this weekender you can experience many performances, workshops, films and ofc a lot of gezelligheid 🧡 On Sunday, we decided to slow things down for a bit: we asked @alba.vivaldi and @brvdcolemvn to perform in the Rode Salon. Both of these performances are free to attend, please note that capacity is limited. Spanish-Norwegian violinist Alba Vivaldi was one of the highlights of our last Vliegtuigmodus, so asking her back was a no-brainer for us. Her live set is at the intersection of classical music, new age, and electronics. Guitarist Brad Coleman (aka Bart van de Sande) has his roots in jazz. Through effects and live-layered loops, he allows minimal music to emerge from improvisation and experimentation. Expect evolving soundscapes merged with grooving rhythms. 📅 Sunday 20 september ⌚ 13:30 + 16:00 📍 Rode Salon 🎟️ Entrance is free

Little did I know.. This beach jam would change my life In 2020 I left someone I was still in love with. Feeling pretty lost in life, not to mention homeless, I then decided to book a one-way ticket to Sicily during the pandemic. Soon after I arrived I met Alberto on a beach called “Mortelle” which is the north east coast of Sicily. We started playing together immediately and soon after we wrote this song together. It’s about how I fell back in love with life again during that summer in Sicily. Song: Tonight by @al_alma_trio Vocals @maaikegirardinmusic Guitar @alberto_ammendolia Violin @alba.vivaldi Drums @drummerjoost Bass @ble_biru Cello @_carolotti Production @lennert_klaui
