Alberto Melloni - NRGY [ELSI09] 🦾 @albertomelloni_ makes his debut on ELSI with NRGY, a 4-track digital EP that fuses the warmth of Italo with a modern, darker take on Electro. The result is a hi-nrg release built to move from the biggest festival stages to the sweatiest, most intimate rave rooms. We’ve been testing this EP all summer, and we are very excited to finally share it with you. Alberto is an Italian musician, DJ and producer, and co-owner of @raibanorecords , known for a refined and contemporary take on italo-disco shaped by analog warmth, and cosmic grooves. With a background as a guitarist, he brings a strong musical sensibility into his club-focused productions, blending harmony-driven arrangements with a distinctive groove. Over the years he has collaborated with respected labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Toy Tonics and Slow Motion, further refining a sound that connects classic disco roots with contemporary club culture. 1. NRGY 2. Howling 3. Silent Silent 4. A new life for “El Rey” 🪩 Originally released in 2024 with @brucaliff_ as part of our “Dancefloor Jams” EP on @raibanorecords , “El Rey” was later given a new twist by @albertomelloni_ (slide 2) with his Italo remix. Now that remix has found its way onto wax as part of MIXATISSIMO, the new vinyl-only mixed compilation curated by @hey.cabrera (slide 3), released via Universo Segundo (his brand-new label) and powered by @bordelloaparigi . For the compilation, Hey Cabrera edited the track, locking it into a continuous 10-track journey inspired by the classic Italian mixed compilations of the ’80s — 122 BPM on Side A, 125 BPM on Side B. We’re proud to see one of our tracks having yet another life, this time pressed on vinyl and mixed alongside some great music from the new Italian alternative dance scene. MIXATISSIMO is out now, vinyl only. 📀
