ANTOLOGIA CORAL DE CARLES PRAT
06/10/2026 Concert Capella de l'Esperança
07-10/10/26 Enregistrament Auditori de Vila-seca

Cor Pedrell

Ensemble Phænomen on @mdr_mitteldeutscherrundfunk Thuringia as part of the Stölzel-Festtage in Gotha.

Led by the Stölzel-Gesellschaft, these days were dedicated to exploring the first cycle of Stölzel’s cantatas on texts by Knauer.

Ensemble Phænomen interpreted seven of these works as part of Volume II of the complete cantatas.

A week of residency in Vézelay at Cité de la Voix with @ensemblephaenomen and Stölzel, Stölzel and more Stölzel :)
We were reading and rehearsing 7 (!!) cantatas and performing a new cantata ever day for the audiences in the basilica of Vézelay.
And after a full day of work we spent the evenings at the river to cool down from the heat of the day.
Beautiful places, beautiful music, beautiful souls 🌻
See you all with these musical gems at Stölzel-Festtage in Gotha.

“And these three are one”
It’s exactly what we all aim when making music together, being individuals but also achieving one sound together, blending and not blending at the same time.
You can listen to our rendition of 𝗗𝘂𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗺 by Tomás Luis de Victoria on our YouTube channel.

“Two Seraphim proclaim to one another...”
Tomás Luis de Victoria sets these opening words of 𝗗𝘂𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗺 for just two voices. But as soon as the angels start to speak the musical texture expands and two new voices join the conversation. Suddenly the voices of two Seraphim’s are heard as four voices intertwining.
Just one of the many ways in which Victoria transforms a theological mystery into sound, creating a world where earthly voices seem to echo the music of the spheres.

Did we manage to make it sound angelic?
😇 Find out tomorrow when we drop the full video on YouTube.

Brought out the all the trumpets, drums, flutes, bassoon, and oboes for a splashy opening to this year’s Bachcelona Festival!

After three days of workshops in the beautiful mountain village of Estamariu, conductor Lluís Vilamajó, his selection of young singers and instrumentalists for the Akademie, as well as the Bach Salvat soloists (Maëlys Robinne, Lara Morger, Matthew Thomson, and Francesc Ortega) and musicians from the Bachcelona Consort and abroad filled the stage not only with a zillion and a half notes, but with a special camaraderie that comes from making music, learning, and living together for a few intense days.

Huge thanks to all who make the Bachcelona Akademie both logistically and economically possible so that we can enjoy Bach in so many ways!😀
