Hi! I'm Leanna Mae. Here are some things about me.

✨ ABOVE ALL
✝️ I'm a Christian. I'm Apostolic Pentecostal. I was actually atheist until I was 17. I became a Christian in November of 2005.
⛪️ I go to @alcdayton It's an amazing church and you are welcome to join me!

✨ MY MAIN THINGS
📚 I'm an author 💜. I write nonfiction books on several different topics. My published works are Happily Frugal, The Subject of Salvation, and Lessons on the Author Life. I'm currently working on a book about spiritual battle. I also plan to publish my birth plan curriculum as a workbook.
⌨️ I'm also a blogger. My focus with that is sharing my faith. I've had readers in over 60 countries.
👩🏻‍🏫 I teach classes on birth prep.
🌻 And, of course, I'm a birth doula.
📍 I'm in the Dayton/Springfield, Ohio area

✨ ME
🦀 I'm a level 10 introvert. Homebody. Friendly hermit crab 🐚. I can be chatty one on one or in small groups. Crowds are not for me.
🦉 100% night owl. Seriously, I'm nocturnal and was wired that way since birth.
🍁 I'm a huge autumn lover. Take me to the pumpkin patch.
🌽 I'm a country girl living in a small town. Country drives are one of my favorite things.
🚜 I dream of moving north & building my own house.
🌲 Going to lakes is also one of my favorite things.
🌌 My favorite activities are writing, reading, naps, parks, country drives, stargazing, and campfires.
🤩 My idea of adventure is trying out cafes.
☕️ I enjoy a hot cup of coffee & am addicted to iced coffee. My go to is vanilla iced coffee with almond milk.
💡 String lights make me happy.
🤓 I like to learn and I like to info dump.
📷 I enjoy taking pictures. When I was younger, I wanted to be a photographer. Ironically, I am very camera shy and extremely shy about being on video. I like to be behind the camera.
🤎💜 My favorite colors are brown and purple. I like neutrals especially shades of brown and cream.
🌯 My favorite foods are peanut butter, burritos, chicken chimichangas, and pizza. I can bash some mashed potatoes. Soft tacos are better than hard. I'm not ashamed to love Taco Bell. Also not ashamed to be 38 and love chicken nuggets.

🤎 Writing 💜 Teaching 💛 Birth work

💥 EPIC Kids Church was a blast today! 💥
We sang and worshiped to “Down, Down, Down” 🎶 with all our energy, had a raffle full of fun prizes 🎁, and played some super exciting games that had everyone laughing! 🙌

Best of all, we learned a powerful lesson from Queenie about Jacob & Esau—how God wants to be in covenant with us, but first He has to change our hearts. ❤️ What an amazing reminder that when God changes us on the inside, we can stay close to Him forever!

We’re so thankful for our kids, our leaders, and the joy we get to share each week. 🫶

The newly renovated ALC facility is a true reflection of elegance and modern design. From the grand chandeliers to the expansive windows that flood the room with natural light, this space invites warmth and sophistication. I was truly honored to capture the beauty of this transformation, and I can’t wait to see the final results as the project comes to life.
