For this release, the Czech Remnant (Mr. M of Chevallier Skrog, does that ring a bell?) joins forces with Snagcut to share their insights. After some writing back-and-forth, this split reveals itself as a very intrinsically honest and personal work, not the least on a conceptual level. Vulnerable, in a sense. With clear references to the work of Milan Kundera, not hidden or downplayed , Remnant reaches an unprecedented lo-fi sonic honesty: unmatched and deeply affecting. Snagcut, in turn, has gone through feverish times and captured this period in a direct and raw manner on tape. The result leans toward droney, meditative, repetitive compositions, with occasional outbursts that resonate in striking ways with Remnant’s insights. A split for the patient, attentive, and open-minded listener. Make no mistake: this is powerful material, a whole different beast. Enjoy the trip. limited to 10 copies on recycled tapes with manual printed insert and obi strip. #snagcut

OUT NOW! TSCHECHEN SCHWEINE – 4-Way Split Otras 💀 Chevallier Skrog 💀 Bahratal 💀 Pakosteň Štyri projekty z česko-slovenského undergroundu sa stretávajú v surovom mixe black metalu, punku a noise-u, neuhladenom, špinavom a nekompromisnom. Kupuj, počúvaj a sťahuj cez Bandcamp (link in bio). EN////EN///////EN///////EN///////EN///////EN///////EN/// OUT NOW! TSCHECHEN SCHWEINE – 4-Way Split Otras 💀 Chevallier Skrog 💀 Bahratal 💀 Pakosteň Four projects from the Czech-Slovak underground collide in a raw blend of black metal, punk and noise, unpolished, dirty and uncompromising. This split is a direct cut into the living body of the scene, where metalpunk aggression meets ritual darkness and fractured sonic experiments. From the wind-beaten black metal punk of Otras, through the fragmented chaos of Chevallier Skrog, to the heavy atmospheric pressure of Bahratal and the filthy, driving attack of Pakosteň, four distinct approaches bound by one thing: authenticity over perfection. Released as a special limited cassette edition of 67 copies. Full-print tape and full-print plastic case. Each copy includes a unique original artwork created by the band members themselves, turning every tape into a small physical artifact. Buy, listen & download via Bandcamp (link in bio) 🖤 #skyburialproductions #chevallier skrog #bahratal #otras #pakosten
