Maybe self-worth is the moment you stop asking the world to prove that you matter and start becoming the person who refuses to abandon yourself. You learn that walking away isn't losing people, sometimes it's finally choosing peace over pain, boundaries over belonging, and yourself over the version of you that kept shrinking to be loved. Because when you truly understand your worth, you no longer need their apology, their validation, or their permission to feel enough - you carry that knowing within you. And suddenly, what once broke you becomes the very thing that taught you never to betray yourself again.

"Between sunshine and rain, a rainbow forms and we find ourselves walking on the path of hope". Around this time, last year, Alchemoet and I were still dreaming about our book, while writing our second drafts. Around this time last year, words were being brought to life, ideas were developing in the womb of our imaginations, and most importantly, two writers were pouring their hearts out for the world to see. Today, as I opened to this page of our book, I couldn't help but smile at all that we were able to do, and if you ever pick up our book, we hope that you can take a few words to your heart's home.

Essences etched in gold,
slow-poisoned in batches,
gaze at the simulation
through rose-tinted glasses.
Selfish pulses crave for a taste of illusion,
blinding minds from blackstrap-glazed conclusions.
Electric touch ignites a malignant flame,
an adrenaline rush racing to drain the blame.
Yet threads of coded secrets weave curable identities-
clay bodies bleeding the story
of boundless light
while breathing in a caged, dark-brewed reality.

Ending this phase with the piece that started it all. I wrote this prose during my lowest days, when my fear of joy had grown even stronger. So many things have changed. I feel differently now.
