Saturday night was incredible! 🌅 🥂 Thank you to everyone who came and supported our 10-year anniversary party “A Decade of Good Trouble!” We are so grateful to each and every one of you.

Bridgeport Generation Now is only as strong as the people organized behind our mission and that strength was on full display on Saturday night: a packed house of people from all corners of our city truly “in this together” for transformational change.

Congratulations again to our all of our awardees, we know we will keep up the good fight with you!

And thank you again to all of our sponsors! Your support means we can continue to make an impact on civic engagement, democracy, justice and equity in our city.

Celebration, joy and collective energy and the power of ORGANIZING!!

@tamikadmallory and @gemeem brought it all on Saturday night to downtown #Bridgeport!! 🔥💜

LESSONS and GEMS:

💎 Knock on doors, get your people, organize your people

💎 They are making money off our $1.4 trillion and our people just need a little bit of information

💎 Let’s build a NET that WORKS!

💎 The local is national. What happens here in Bridgeport matters to the struggle - and that’s the kind of organizing we need not just to fight but to win!

🗣️ Everything not a joke Ninja! 😂

Dating has its challenges for everyone. Having Lupus initially made me devalue myself. I thought, why would anyone want to start a life or family with me? I broke up with my significant other shortly after my diagnosis.

But the things Lupus has taught me a long the way are full of real sweetness. We ALL need to be cared for, to be loved on, to be listened to. We need someone to be patient with us, support us, to teach us things along the way. And we need to be that in return. So, my challenge is my strength in that it gives me this level of understanding.

Always ask: What is this teaching me?

ODYSSEY, preorder is on NinjaNay.com. Get yours today.

I think I’m ready! I am honored that @mackunfolds was open to sitting down with me to discuss Odyssey and being one of the first to sit with the project in its entirety.

Her review and response continue to help with my confidence in bringing it to you. This project is about transparency, and to be honest, I’m so used to my shadows that everything out here looks so bright.

So I’ll take this time to tell you, face it. Whatever is keeping you from flying, defeat it. Soar!
