POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Welcome to my cozy corner of the universe!

This space is a sanctuary for soul and story.
A place where poems become prayers,
and truth is offered like open hands.
Here, I pour out the echoes of my spirit:
lessons from the shadows, quiet aches, devastating defeats,
light from the journey, loud joys, triumphant victories and the love of God stitched through every scar.
May the words you find here be a soft landing, a mirror, a challenge, a call higher and a gentle reminder that you are not alone!

Videos of spoken word pieces arriving soon. Until then, breathe deep, be well and enjoy the journey!

Last but certainly not least, our Founder and Host for the evening VZN will be taking the stage and performing some unreleased new music.
-
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Henry Lewis aka “VZN” (pronounced Vision) had always aspired to become a musician. The son of a choir director, VZN’s knack for music was cultivated at an early age. Taking inspiration from the likes of Usher, Donny Hathaway, and D’Angelo, he developed an interest in R&B and Soul. As an adolescent he contributed background vocals for Mariah Carey on her album “Charmbracelet”. In high school, VZN began writing songs for himself and others. Starting out as initial hobby that eventually developed into a passion, VZN had began his career as a singer/songwriter, being featured to albums such as Webbie’s “Savage Life 4”. Henry chose the name “VZN” as an expression of what he feels led him to his success thus far. He feels in order to obtain anything, one must visualize it first. The name is a constant reminder of what he strives to obtain.
-
Be sure to check out VZN's music available on all streaming platforms and catch his performance at Alchemy : Vol 2.

This weekend was…EVERYTHING. I got to see my high school bestie become a wife and the crew @alchemytheexperience and I put on our first successful music showcase series.
•
It dawned on me that I’ll be 30 in less than 5 months 🤯. As the youngest out of all of my friends this hit kinda hard tbh. I used to have so many goals & dreams that I talked about doing before 30 - Forbes list, family / kids, etc. As I started to feel a little down about what I haven’t accomplished yet, @lalahdelia ‘s words of affirmation rang supreme - I AM EXACTLY WHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO BE IN THIS MOMENT. And for the first time since her guided meditation was shared with me, I legit feel that & I am at peace with where I am.
•
Don’t get it twisted though - I’m still coming for y’all necks on everything. This is just the beginning ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
