This week’s BlastedBio is Jessika! Here’s her backstory!
WhiteWidow has been through 5 1/2 chapters of my life with me. It all started when one morning my mom and I were looking at a ‘69 camero indy pace car she and her ex-husband had. My mom looked at me and told me to build myself a mustang online. Well the one I had built was black and there weren’t any in less than 500 miles from me, but there was one, one Oxford White one (matches my 94 f150 and my 01 new edge). So that being said, made an appointment at the dealership and my dad and I went to test drive her, well didn’t make it a block and told my dad, this it, it’s the one! And we brought her home. From this point, she made a whole new transformation from your basic oxford white Mustang GT, into WhiteWidow. Like any build she’s taken time to come together but the story behind her, is the name began with my late fiancé, who passed in April of 2021 from covid. We had be transforming my 01, and we we were going to rename her from PRI$$Y, to WhiteWidow because we had taken that car apart ourselves and renewed and upgraded everything on that car. I did the research of the actual white widow spider and at the time there were only roughly 600 left in existence, making them not only different but rare. That being said I’ve done things different and have tried to create a look based on his and my vision, making it different and rare. This car has gone through so much with me over the past 5-ish years, death, marriage, divorce, and many other life events between. Her gas pedal has felt every emotion I’ve had and gone through. She’s also saved my life in more than one way throughout it all. I’m sure my breaks and transmission have experienced just as many emotions, too, if not worse! Hahaha! This car is my safe heaven, my therapist, and most of all, my “happy place” that makes all the rough times disappear, even for a short while. The best part is my daughter shares the same passion and will be driving in a few short years. At this point I don’t know if she’s getting PRI$$Y or WhiteWidow but I know she will be showing PRI$$Y in memory of her daddy and that just brings me so much joy and happiness 💜
