Event Recap: LIHIL by Utile

@utile.works and @lihil_lederwerkstatt recently came together for a collaborative pop-up held at @phase___space from February 6th to 8th, 2026. The event kicked off with a launch party on the night of February 6th, followed by a public weekend showcase of leatherwork and immersive installation art.

The high-energy atmosphere was perfectly complemented by liquid DnB, which set the tone for the night as guests explored the immersive installations and leatherwork. It was a vibrant kickoff.

This experiment, titled LIHIL by Utile, successfully merged the meticulous craftsmanship of Terance Chen with a dark, industrial design language.

When We Were Young [2017-2019]✨

Time passes, memories fade, feelings change, people leave, but hearts never forget. Whatever relationship you build up in this world, the only thing that remains is loneliness with many memories.☺️

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.🫶🏼

Taking this tiny moment I have today to express how peculiarly gratifying these past couple of months have positively impacted my soul. I’m deeply grateful. Grateful for i get to witness the plants we grew thriving relentlessly by the window sill day after day, the ripeness of the air i breathe in of the post-rain evening, the sun i see rise and set, the gentle breeze on a hot sunny day, the serenity i find within the sound of the waves i visit, the feeling of waking up to sushi & miso sleeping soundly next to me, the familiar/new faces whose paths I’ve crossed i was given the chance to meet— regardless of whether they’ve remained intertwined with mine or not thus far, my favourite thing in the world— coincidences, the love i found within me because of the love i receive around me, the time to travel back and forth weekly and the (social) energy God has granted me with to witness the wonderful, positive growth of those i care for. Just, immensely grateful. There’s really no other way for me to describe how grateful i am to be surrounded by those who endlessly, tirelessly shower me with so much kindness, and love, and care. I was raised and always am surrounded by love, so love is all i ever know how to give.
