Part 2: the oil trick most barbers get wrong ⚠️

After the 6-in-1, finish with clipper oil. But DON’T overdo it. Three drops is all you need: one, two, three. Any more and it turns into a big sloppy mess.

Switch it on, let it run, and tilt it side to side so the oil spreads evenly across the blade.

Bonus: I did the same on the trimmer, so you can hear how quickly that rattle disappears 👂

It takes 5 to 10 seconds between clients. Your tools run smoother and your clients get a better cut.

Take care of your tools, and your tools will take care of you. Keep it clean, keep it fresh ✌🏼 🎬 Tool Care #1 · Part 2 (Part 1 is on my page)

If your clipper sounds like this… don’t panic, it’s NOT broken 👂

That rattle is usually just a dry or dirty blade. My go-to fix takes seconds: the Shave Factory 6-in-1 clipper spray. It cleans, cools, sanitizes, lubricates, refreshes, and protects your blades from rust 🔧

Spray it while the clipper’s running. It gets louder at first while it clears out what’s stuck between the blades, then it calms right down.

Do this between every client and your tools will thank you 🙌🏼

Everyone posts the finished cut. Nobody shows you this part. ✂️

After 20+ years behind the chair, this is still where the magic happens:
🔹 Reading the face shape
🔹 Working with the hair’s growth patterns
🔹 Understanding how you actually live and wear your hair

That’s what decides the cut, not a photo off Instagram.

So next time you sit in a barber’s chair, remember: you deserve a haircut made for YOU, not a trend. 🖤

Twenty years behind the chair… and this box just changed my kit. 📦✂️

Today it’s official. My Cocco tools have landed on the Rock. 🇲🇹

Clippers, trimmer, shaver, folding straight razor, blades. All of it is built to perform, and honestly the finish on these is something else. 🖤

But the feature I’m most excited about? Travel mode. ✈️
As a Global Stylist, my kit lives in a suitcase half the time: London, India, wherever the next stage is. Knowing my tools can’t switch on in my bag and arrive flat means they land ready to work. That’s a game changer for me.I’m not here to tell you they’re good. I’m going to show you, every day in my chair and on every stage I step onto.

Huge thank you to @davidkimcocco for trusting me as an International Ambassador, and to Aldo and @ltasupplies_ for always backing me. 🙏🏻

First cut with the new kit is coming. Stay tuned. 👀

8 lessons London taught me after 20+ years behind the chair. 🇬🇧✂️ Swipe →

1. Your craft is your passport
2. Detail is what they remember
3. Pressure is a privilege
4. Fundamentals never fade
5. Preparation is power
6. Know where you’re stuck
7. Show up for your people
8. Stay humble. Stay hungry.

None of this happens alone. 🙏🏻

@coccohairpro , thank you for trusting me to represent you. Standing on that stage with your name behind me is an honour I don’t take lightly. 🖤

@aldobajada and @ltasupplies_ , you backed me before anyone was watching. From the Rock to London, this one’s for you too.

This is how it all started… 🎬

A barber from a small rock in the Mediterranean, standing in the middle of ExCeL London at Salon International 2026 🇲🇹➡️🇬🇧

20+ years behind the chair. Started cutting hair at 14 in my parents’ studio in Bormla. And now? Sharing the floor with some of the biggest names in the industry, cutting, connecting and representing Malta on one of the world’s biggest hair stages 💈🔥

People ask me what the secret is. There isn’t one. It’s showing up, every single day, even when nobody’s watching.

Malta ➡️ India ➡️ London… and the journey is only getting started.

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth, to my team, and to everyone who believed in this before anyone else did 🙏🏻❤️

A big thank you to @davidkimcocco and the entire @coccohairpro team for a fantastic dinner, great company, and for making us feel part of the family! 🖤

Huge congratulations to our very own @brendonrice_official on officially becoming a Cocco Ambassador! 🎉✂️

Following an incredible Salon International 2026 in London, this is a truly well-deserved milestone for one of the hardest-working and most passionate artists we know. Brendon continues to raise the bar for Maltese barbering, combining exceptional skill, dedication, and heart in everything he does.

At @ltasupplies_ we’ve always believed in Brendon and his talent. Seeing him reach this milestone makes us incredibly proud, and we know this is only the beginning! 🚀

A special thank you to @davidkimcocco for the support you give to @ltasupplies_

Here’s to new opportunities, continued success, and an exciting journey ahead! 🖤🥂

The first Maltese artist to headline Professional Beauty India. Now, London. 🇲🇹➡️🇮🇳➡️🇬🇧

When I stepped on that stage in India, I wasn’t just representing myself. I was carrying a tiny island most people couldn’t find on a map. That moment even made it into JJ Savani’s book POSITIONED.

But that was never the finish line. It was the blueprint.

This weekend I’m taking that same energy to Salon International at ExCeL London. Same craft, same hunger, bigger stage. 🔥
