This is called a “Custom First Dance Edit” by Alive Events and it’s the cherry on top to make your celebrations that much more special.

They recorded these in secret and heard it for the first time alongside their guests. The result was the entire room being blown away!

🎥 RECAP: Live Events Coalition educational and networking event, hosted by Eclipse Events in Edison, NJ! 🤝

NJ LEC President Louis Avanti lead an open, practical conversation about the business of live events: attracting clients, communicating our value, strengthening industry relationships and navigating the challenges we face as business owners and professionals.

Attendees were invited to bring their questions, ideas and a business challenge to discuss. This was a chance to exchange experience, learn from one another and leave with ideas to put to work.

NJWedding.com is proud to be a media sponsor of LEC-NJ. Follow @lec_nj to be notified of upcoming events.

Unhinged wedding tips I wish I knew before I got married...

1. Have a designated a-hole for the day to deal with things you don't want to - “I’m not sure you’ll have to ask _____”.

2. Wear a literal bib when eating - the only absolute, surefire way to prevent stains.

3. Guests only get the address AFTER they rsvp yes - anyone who’s not going to your wedding, doesn’t need the address for it.

4. Book Alive Events to be your MC and DJ. A good MC handles all the day-of logistics rather than you. Less time stressing and delegating and more time being present with your guests. Alive Events is the difference between a wedding that LOOKS good and a wedding that FEELS good.

5. Hire a cleaner on your wedding day so you come home to a spotless house - nothing better than your kicked-off dancing shoes being the only thing on the floor.

6. Shirt with 'I can't follow directions’ for anyone not following dress code - Wearing all white? Jeans to a black tie? Everyone gets a shame shirt.

7. Give all your bridesmaids the same lip combo you're wearing - so when you need to apply all you need is to grab your nearest bridesmaid!

These are truly unhinged, but we LOVE THEM.
Did we miss any? Let us know in the comments!

The jet lag, the hours of traveling, and the lost luggage are ALWAYS worth it for these reactions from our couples.

We will rock your party whether it's hosted in New Jersey or Sorento Italy like this couple!

See you at your next event, no matter where it is.
