What began as a very stressful start to the week—with Maddy and Blake having to shift expectations and come up with a Plan B—turned into the most beautiful celebration.

I’m not sure any of us knew quite what to expect heading into Saturday in the middle of a Nor’easter, but I think we’d all agree that the day ended up being nothing short of perfect. All 170 of their closest family and friends gathered inside the estate, and somehow, even with rooms full of people, it still felt incredibly intimate and special.

I feel very lucky to have had a front-row seat to Maddy and Blake’s day, and so grateful for the complete trust they placed in me. To the new Mr. & Mrs. Penner! 🤍

Millie and Dave knew from day one that they wanted a Columbus wedding in every sense of the word. Not just the address on the invitation. Every vendor who touched this day lives and works in Columbus. 🤍

That mattered to them. They wanted their dollars going to their neighbors, and they wanted the people building their day to actually care about this place the way they do.
