I often say I love you. Most of the time you say “I love you more” Then Ill respond with “No, I love you more” and so on and so on. But I dont think you know what I mean when I say I love you more. Im not saying I love you more than you love me. I’m saying that I love you more than anything or anyone on this earth. It means I love you more than the good days and bad days. It means I love you more than any disagreement, any fights or any argument. More than any hardship thatll come are way. And just as Jesus loves us more than we can love him back. My goal is to always love you more than you can ever love me back. Ephesians 5:25 says Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. With every step in our marriage I plan to follow the example of Jesus and love you more. More than you deserve. More than you need and sometimes more than you want. I promise to always love you more.
