✨YA & MIDDLE GRADE FAVORITES✨ I’ve read a bunch of YA and Middle Grade books this year, and I’ve been blown away again and again by the depth and quality of these stories. One of my favorite parts of YA and MG lit is that there’s often more clear themes and character development. Not only is the author entertaining us, they’re trying to teach us something about growing up and what it means to be human. I know— this is the point of all fiction. But for some reason, it just hits differently for me. And when the world is feeling horrible, I know I can always turn to YA and MG for some hope. So, here are (a sampling of) the young adult and middle grade books I’ve loved this year. I highly recommend them! In fact, I have recommended them already to a bunch of students— from my superspeed readers to my reluctant readers— there’s something for everyone here. 💬TELL ME: what are YOUR ya and middle grade recommendations? Your birthday, your book (October edition) pt 2 🍁🍂 Hiiiii I am very well aware that it’s not October but I’m procrastination final boss so this was supposed to be posted last October but hey better late than never hehe. Also this is my account I make the rules 😒 I’m so glad for netgalley because I’m reading more and hence have way more books to recommend for this series and I’m also glad that I get to discover more books. Oh and I finished immortal longings hehe. BUT DAMN THAT ENDING OH MY GAWD! I literally ran to Carthi’s DMs cuz I was shook no joke. I’m so glad I waited for the entire series to drop because ain’t no way I would’ve survived that cliffhanger- Which means onto vilest things now hehe 😙😙 No writing updates rn I’m just too invested in my new idea I’m tryna figure out the details.
