graduated with my best friends today! even though the past 4 years have been far from easy, im so proud of all of the accomplishments i’ve made along the way. my very first day on campus i passed out in the dorm elevator and thought that was a sign i needed to go home. im glad i decided to stick with it and continue my journey through higher education. after several nights calling home, long drives between franklin and morgantown, and even a major change, i wouldnt change my experience for anything. through my classes in art therapy and counseling i’ve learned the hardship i’ve endured will one day make me a stronger therapist and person. all the friends, professors and advisors i’ve met along the way have shaped me into who i am now. my mom has always been the most supportive and loving through these past 4 years. im so lucky i have a mom like her to pick me up when i fall down! special thanks to annie for always pushing me along and being the best professor a girl could ask for!! i’ll always be a mcfarland junior! 💐
