sojourn women’s retreat 💒

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.”
- 1 Peter 4:8-10 💌

this weekend was MUCH needed. (full vulnerability) i find myself getting SO busy lately that i have not been giving the time i need for God. but one of the MANY great things about God is that He is SOOOOO patient. this weekend i’ve learned so much not only about me, but about God and about the wonderful women i was blessed to be able to fellowship with. friendships are so important, but also the way we grow in them, and not only our actions with friends, but also what we learn and act with them. a big picture i gathered was if God is so forgiving, patient, and compassionate towards us… why can’t we give those attributes to others? TOUGH CONCEPT i get it. my biggest battle is forgiveness, but who are we to hold a grudge when the one who died for our sins forgives us on the DAILY, even when we feel like we don’t deserve it! we can be so undeserving but Jesus doesn’t think twice about pouring out such gracious attributes towards us. the world more than EVER needs the love Jesus has for us, amongst one another and in general. who are we to tear each other down when God loves and forgives all. this is the time for growth and seed planting. we need to fully succumb to Jesus and let him guide our hearts and actions in this messed up world we live in now. my biggest prayer is that i continue to live a Christ like life, and that my actions mirror the love Jesus has. with friendships; relationships, and just on the daily. this weekend was eye opening, sweet, and evermore amazing in fellowship. i’m so beyond blessed to have been able to go and enjoy a great weekend with amazing people and our God!🤍

long time no see!🫶🏼

“He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” - 2 Corinthians 1:4

i’d be lying if i said all of these pictures represented a perfect life i’ve been living lately. however, they depict memories that reminded me of how just good our God truly is in times of uncertainty. from God sent people, heartfelt memories, and the beautiful world God gifted us to live in.
life has been so uncertain, but one thing i can always rely on is we don’t go through the obstacles of life alone, for He is with us always and gifts us people we can always call in comfort.

starting my “senior” year at texas state; i can’t wait to see what God calls me to, but i am ever so grateful for the life He gave me to experience. so beyond grateful for sweet friends, memories, experiences, and an amazing God.

this verse reminds us we are not alone, and that we can use our experiences to help others who feel the same way in the times of affliction. our walk is never just us🫶🏼

forever grateful 💌

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

An amazing time with awesome people! This past week we had the privilege to go and be the salt of the earth in Granada, Spain! In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all nations teaching them everything he has commanded us! We are called to be ambassadors, imitators of Christ. Not only to teach but to show what it looks like to follow Christ and share the same Love he shows us!!
