9 years ago today, I packed my life into a suitcase and moved to the United States.

I was so young, with big dreams, a lot of courage, and absolutely no idea of everything life had waiting for me.

And what a life it has been. 🤍

In these 9 years, I graduated from college. I built a career I’m incredibly proud of, had opportunities the younger version of me could only dream about, discovered talents I didn’t know I had, built businesses, traveled, created beautiful memories, fell in love, created homes, and met incredible people who became family.

I also grew up.

I lost people who meant the world to me, including my dad and my great-grandmother. I experienced beautiful beginnings and painful endings, said goodbyes I wasn’t ready for, and had moments when being far away from home felt heavier than I could explain.

But when I look back, I don’t just see the difficult moments.

I see nine years of LIFE.

Accomplishments, adventures, friendships, love, lessons, laughter, heartbreak, dreams coming true, dreams changing, and countless versions of myself that somehow brought me here.

And this year, life gave this story the most beautiful full-circle moment:

9 years after moving to this country, I became a U.S. citizen. 🇺🇸

Sometimes I wish I could sit next to that girl who arrived here nine years ago and tell her just a little bit about the life ahead of her.

I think she would be incredibly proud.

Today, I’m grateful for every person, every opportunity, every lesson, every place that became home, and every version of me that kept moving forward.

9 years later, I’m still dreaming, still creating, still growing, and still starting new chapters.

We did it, little Andrea. 🤍

Happy 9 years to the bravest decision I ever made — and cheers to everything that’s still to come. 🇺🇸✨

Just a bit of my weekend but ended up with an extra credit workout and celebration with @the_real_fit_stela . Good vibes with some cool people. @theashfordatl we enjoyed 🐾💪🏾. Madrid y Granada… dos primeras paradas que ya nos dejaron el corazón lleno 🤍✨

Comenzamos este tour flamenco viviendo momentos que van mucho más allá del baile. Compartir esta experiencia con nuestras alumnas y sus familias ha sido simplemente mágico… ver cómo cada paso, cada mirada y cada emoción se entrelazan con la historia y la cultura de España 🇪🇸

En Madrid, tuvimos el honor de visitar la emblemática Amor de Dios, cuna de grandes artistas, donde se respira disciplina, pasión y tradición en cada rincón. Un sueño hecho realidad para todas 💃🏽

Luego, Granada nos recibió con su duende… una tarde inolvidables en la Cueva Flamenca La Rocío, donde el flamenco se siente profundo, auténtico, casi sagrado… de esos momentos que erizan la piel ✨

Y cómo no, la visita a la majestuosa Alhambra… un paseo por la historia, la belleza y el legado andaluz que nos conecta aún más con nuestras raíces.

Han sido días de mucho arte, cultura, aprendizaje y unión… creando recuerdos que quedarán para siempre en nuestras vidas ❤️
