23 / 52 ๐Ÿน Life bitsโ€ฆA week of reminding myself what itโ€™s all about.. My brain is always thinking of whatโ€™s next and how I can do better ๐Ÿง  it can sometimes be hard to feel present or remind myself that Iโ€™m perhaps being too hard on myself. Having some more fluidity in my week was very much needed to feel grounded again ๐ŸŒŠ I played with movement instead of trained, I hung with friends instead of rushing off to tick the next box, made sure I was wholeheartedly available for people who needed me and had, what felt like, a mega breakthrough after months of โ€˜not quitesโ€™ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Iโ€™m ready to push again now and Iโ€™m very excited for whatโ€™s to come ๐Ÿ”ฎ a dose of stepping back and regaining perspective was exactly what was needed. And the pimms ๐Ÿคญ #weeklyroundup #photodump #selfreflections #movingforward #playtime #zoomout

Good times indeed at the @bristolopenbjj in Thornbury Leisure today! It's always difficult to juggle things around in competitions when you have staff that are both working AND competing - but the team from @sweatboxbjj and affiliates did an amazing job today - many of them not even having worked before! Everyone worked well together and showed great flexibility changing roles (and mats!) frequently, so thank you for all your hard work and patience with me asking for updates and sending you all over the place! I even got a chance to dust off the referee shirt and get stuck in whilst one of the other refs competed (albeit a bit rusty ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿป). All in all, it was a great day with great teamwork and some great jiu jitsu on display, especially from the staff themselves - super impressed! Thanks to @pedrobessabjj and @tomshowlerbjj for the opportunity, and I look forward to the next one!! . . . . . . . . . . . #jiujitsu #jiujitsufamily #jiujitsutherapy #jiujitsuforeveryone #jiujitsutechnique +#jiujitsuclass #jiujitsulifestyle #japanesejiujitsu #combatjiujitsu #brazillianjiujitsu #bjj #bjjlifestyle #gi #submissiongrappling #grappling #wrestling #WWE #nogi #bigboybjj #fatboybjj #oldmanbjj #40plusBJJ #purplebelt #bteam #nopolitics #unitedbyjiujitsu #ravenfightwear #makejiujitsufunagain #makethegigreatagain
