Undercover Spring 2015’ by Jun Takahashi…

A deeply melancholic meditation on loss, memory, and the passage of time Jun Takahashi channeled his personal grief from the passing of his mother into a collection that felt like a funeral procession crossed with a dreamlike fairy tale.

It drew from Victorian attire, ghost stories and the idea of clothing as a shroud or protective layer against emotional pain. The mood was quiet devastation wrapped in beauty you could say.

The show took place in a dimly lit industrial hall with a single elevated runway. Models walked in salmost trance like procession to a haunting soundtrack of slowed distorted classical music mixed with industrial drones. The atmosphere was eerie and ceremonial but ever so poignant…

@meryllrogge unveiled her SS26 collection, I’m Not Wild — closing Paris Fashion Week on October 7th, 2025, at the Hôtel de Soubise.

This season, Rogge explores clothing as autobiography — garments that hold stories, memories, and transformations. Inspired by Cookie Mueller’s Walking Through Clear Water in a Pool Painted Black (1990), the collection celebrates fluid identities and the beauty of reinvention — where the masculine meets the feminine, the opulent meets the free-spirited.

Classic menswear pieces are reimagined through distorted proportions and playful layering: oversized English wools, stripped shirts, and double-breasted overcoats paired with petal-sequined mini dresses and satin pieces printed with bold messages. Freedom, glamour, and grit coexist — much like the underground icons who inspired them.

The show’s pulsating soundtrack culminated with Björk’s Human Behaviour, mirroring the collection’s instinctive energy and emotional honesty.

A collaboration with Antwerp-based jewelers @wouters_hendrix redefines punk adornment — from safety pins to pearls — while the debut of Meryll Rogge’s footwear capsule reinterprets the classic sailor shoe into mules, knee-high versions, and delicate sandals with leather-laced trims.
