What makes it so special? It truly has that rich crabby talangka fat taste and texture, that is so perfectly balanced in flavor, with just the right saltiness, and the tang of calamansi. She now also produces it with dayap too. I call it “liquid gold”. It’s that good!

Aleth’s Kitchen makes her “liquid gold” only ONCE A YEAR so try to get on her list for next year’s production of her Taba Ng Talangka...also called TNT...because it’s like a bomb that will explode in your mouth with deliciousness!

The Lady Suggests: TNT is also wonderful as a sauce for pasta...plain or made creamy and even richer with some heavy cream. It’s also a special gift for friends who love food. They will want you to give them a bottle every year!

It’s officially Christmas when my dear friend Aleth @alethocampo sends me her annual taban ng talangka 🦀 homemade with so much ♥️ and something she only makes during the Christmas season. ❤️🎄

Last year, I even brought my most prized bottle all the way to Singapore 🇸🇬 so my friend Joanne @joqueyoung could finally taste it. The verdict? She loved it so much that she almost finished an entire bottle in one sitting! 😂

My favorite way to enjoy it is simple: sauté the taba ng talangka in olive oil with lots of garlic, then serve it over a steaming bowl of plain rice. It’s rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting.

If you haven’t tried it yet, make sure to get your bottle before it sells out! Aside from her famous taban ng talangka, Aleth also makes delicious sourdough and other homemade goodies

The talent clearly runs in the family because her daughter - Hermit Bakery - also creates amazing pastries. My absolute favorites are the French butter with queso de bola ensaymada—soft, buttery, and wonderfully indulgent—and the refreshing lemon squares, which are simply irresistible.
