Closing out 2022 with a girls night! But first, makeup. Kept things pretty neutral for @lauriesfaves #fullfaceanyage x @palettes_and_punchlines #scavangeurstash challenges. The theme is “cheers” and there was plenty of that happening last night so I’m bringing you along!

My IRL besties met up at Downtown Riverside’s Mission Inn to check out the Festival of Lights and had some yummy drinks and eats.

First stop was the @riversidefoodlab @mivida.gorda for drinks. I had the Brujería. Think white paloma with the best chamoy rim 🤤

Next stop @proabition for dinner and more dranks! Food was delicious, great ambiance, and the cocktails were perfect. I got the Endless Summer, vodka/rum based with pineapple and guava that is definitely worth going back for. And did you see the fire blower?! So cool 🔥 They had a great DJ spinning iconic dance tracks, including the throwback I’m using for this reel. Brought my bestie and I straight back to high school haha.

Finished the night off walking around with stops at the antique mall and an obligatory caramel apple. So. Many. Laughs. Truly blessed with my girls 💞

Whatever you’re doing to ring in the new year, I hope it kicks off an abundance of health, wealth, and love. More laughs, more connection, more self awareness and growth. Cheers! 🥂🫶💕

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and #iweartealinhonorofauroraduenas

It’s a bit of a personal one today 💗 My best friend recently lost her sweet mother to a battle with ovarian cancer. ‘The girls’ got together last night for the first time since and it was so needed.

After pizza and wine, laughs and tears, we shared a moment and painted our nails teal in honor of our dear friend’s mom.

Tough times always put things into perspective, don’t they? Life has so many ups and downs, but it’s the people we keep close through it all that make it bearable.

Ovarian cancer is the 7th most common cancer and ranks 5th in cancer deaths among women, accounting for more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system.*

If nothing more, may this be your reminder to always advocate for your health and to keep up to date on ALL of your check ups because all love starts with self love.
