Exciting news for the @citipowerpowercor Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic with the inaugural @provelosuperleague SumUp Men’s League Champion, Jack Ward @lidltrek Future Racing confirming he will be competing in the 2026 Warrny.
Ward has just arrived home from a Lidl-Trek training camp in Spain building up for a big 2026 season that includes a small race schedule of Road & MTB disciplines while based home in Melbourne with his family & earmarked the Warrny on his program after his first attempt last year finishing in 7th place behind his then @team_brennan_psl team mate, Blake Agnoletto.
Jack will be definitely one to watch after showing in the inaugural PSL he is more than a climber 💥
.
For all our NON ProVelo Team & Individual Competitors the Warrny offers Age Group Catogory entries via the above bio link 🔗

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all our cycling community 🎄🎅🏻

The Overhead tells the story... (6/6)

I've said it so many times but I can't possibly put into words how thankful and grateful for this team I am.

It wasn't going to plan for a lot of yesterday but Saundo and Schouto pulled for 45mins into the last few climbs and kept the break close.
Then Curtis did a phenomenal job dropping me at 500 to go next to Tudor. Giving me the chance to poach the leadout and open up first at 250.

I think my rebuild from two broken ribs (5w ago) and collarbone surgery 9 weeks ago is just about complete and as a certain Cosmo Catalano always says, that's how the race was won...

The last QRTS done and dusted for the WRP team and the girls absolutely smashed it!

After racing hard and consistently in each of the previous rounds, the girls brought it home, securing 1st on Teams Classification, 1st GC for @maddytaylor22 , 1st Young Riders @quinnnfindlayy and 1st Sprint classification for @kim_raskcycling 🏆

We couldn’t be prouder of the girls for the way they have raced throughout the series and back each other and themselves.

Thank you to our sponsors who have believed in us over the years and made this possible:

Next up @touroftasmania : WRP’s last race!

This weekend we brought the team together for Team camp.

After recon of the Oceania’s road course and a recovery session @recoveryscience, we were fortunate to have @fourPL facilitate a planning session for us at @perform360_coorparoo.

We finished Sunday with the final round of the @auscyclingqueensland Queensland Criterium Series.

It was a fantastic weekend full of laughs and getting to know each other and we can’t wait for the year ahead 💪.
