Today I stood in front of a room full of women who KNOW the construction industry.

Women who wear the steel toes on the jobsite, the heels in the office, and everything in between.

So talking about The Audacity That Builds Us felt especially powerful.

Because there’s the boot everyone sees…

✨ The glitter.
✨ The confidence.
✨ The polished version.

And then there’s the boot no one sees.

🥾 The work.
🥾 The setbacks.
🥾 The hard days.
🥾 The choosing to keep going.

That’s the part that builds us.

I gave every woman a rubber band today and asked her to think about where she’s ready to expand.

Because expansion stretches us.

And that’s where growth happens.

The goals they shared.
The dreams they named.
The messages I received afterward.

They next-leveled ME.

Four years ago, before my assaults, I thought I was audacious.

Now I know I had so much more inside me.

My story changed my audacity.

It changed my expansion.

And it changed my mission.

We have a 1 in 400 trillion chance of being here.

We are NOT meant to play small.

So…

Where are you ready to stretch?

Where do you need to add the weight?

And what’s waiting for you on the other side?

Thank you CREW Philadelphia for letting me bring the glitter AND the steel toes into the room today. 💗🥾✨ @crew_gtrphilly

And @marikatephotography and @alex.siwik for capturing the moments and reminding me why I keep sharing this story.

The mission is simple: create a ripple.

One audacious decision at a time.
