Pearl thinks that bowling is a pretty good metaphor for life. Sometimes you are the ball, sometimes you are the pins. Unless you are Pearl, then you are just the queen.

𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 ≠ 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨: Reflecting on having a front row seat for the NFL Draft and speaking at my alma mater the week before.

I shared my journey of learning (or unlearning) that succeeding doesn’t mean you have to be perfect in that process. If anything, I’ve learned more when things ended differently that how I initially envisioned them.

Every “no” I received prepared for the right “yes”. Each “miss” encouraged me to get back at it and learn how I can tackle the next opportunity head on. It’s honestly wild to think how far life has taken as I’m just weeks away from turning 30.

Instead of my go-to “we’re just getting started” tag, I’ll mix it up and rephrase it to this: “we’re well on our way.”
