Apprenticing King Jesus

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I thank God for His faithfulness. Thank you @churchmomentumco for sponsoring this pastor’s retreat. I see men who are faithfully serving God’s people. We all come from different backgrounds. Some are conservative and some are more charismatic. Christ is our foundation and we find unity in that. I pray the Lord continues to bless each and every pastor, their families, and their congregations. God is doing His work all across the country. Keep serving the King everyone! Our labor in the Lord is not in vain. We are investing into eternity.

Trust Him. Give faithfully. Step out in faith—and watch what God can do through your life.

What happens when the things you rely on start disappearing?

It’s easy to feel content when life is going well, when you have Jesus and good health, and financial stability, and strong friendships. But real contentment is revealed when the “and” is taken away.

Paul writes that he learned to be content in both abundance and need because his life was rooted in Christ alone. When Jesus is your foundation, everything else becomes a gift, not your source.

“I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” — Philippians 4:11

Living differently isn’t about proving a point—it’s about pointing people to Jesus.

Keep doing good. Keep living faithfully. Your life may be the reason someone discovers there’s a different Kingdom. 🤍

Small talk isn’t a waste of time. It’s often how we love people.

Every meaningful conversation starts somewhere. A simple question, a passing comment, a moment of curiosity. When we slow down enough to engage, we create space for God to work.

Start small. Listen well. See where God leads. 🤍

Worship was never meant to be a routine.
It’s the full attention of your soul fixed on the worthiness of Jesus. 🤍

“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.” — John Piper

What if worship is less about the songs we sing and more about the affection of our hearts?
Are you satisfied with God today?

“If you don’t take care of yourself… you won’t show up well for anyone else.”

Most people think self-care is selfish.
It’s not. It’s stewardship.

Your body.
Your mind.
Your discipline.

That’s the foundation for how you lead your family, your work, your life.

Take care of YOU first—so you can take care of what matters most.

Thankful for these friends. These men lead some incredible churches in our region, with whom we connect often. It includes pastors of @anthemchurchnw @livinghope.nw @crossroad_nw @mercychurch.nw @homechurchnw and @woodmarkchurch. It was fun to hear what God is doing in this season in their lives and churches, how they are tackling different challenges, and the dreams God is putting in their hearts for the season ahead. All these churches are less than 7 years old, yet doing incredible things in the NW.

Fitness doesn’t have to exclude your kids.
You might just have to get creative.
Consistency is built in real life — not perfect conditions. 🤍
