Watching how Ed builds a song is always so stunning. Symmetry needs more love and a spot at the setlist 👀👀

For the fans reaching me out because worried about the chance of rain at the shows this weekend…this is what we got in Lucca two years ago, and it will always be one of my top 3 favourite shows. 🥹❤️

Honestly, it was peak fun. Just look at how happy Ed was because of the rain 😂 We were dancing, singing and having the absolute time of our lives, probably even more than we would have without it! 🌧️🩷

You might just end up making some of your favourite concert memories. And don't forget kways or rain ponchos (personally even better) ❤️

It’s been exactly two years since I was at Rock in Rio seeing Ed, and I can’t wait for December to arrive so I can experience that magic all over again.

I’ve been thinking deeply about what it truly means to walk in love especially when our world feels determined to pull us into division.

This story about Ed Sheeran popped up as I was reading about this controversy and this story about a beautiful little girl named Melody moved me deeply.

According to Melody’s mother, Ed visited her daughter in hospital quietly and alone - without an entourage while she was sick with no cameras or publicity no security guards - no one knew he was coming. He sat beside her, held her hand and treated her with love and tenderness.

And he kept showing up.

He sent encouraging messages before operations, helped her through frightening procedures with his music and created special experiences for her when illness was taking so many experiences away.

Even during Melody’s final days, he was there for her.

There were no strings attached. No praise required. No recognition needed. He simply cared.

That is what walking in love looks like.

We don’t have to agree with every opinion, belief or political position to recognize the humanity in one another.

Disagreement isn’t the greatest threat we face.

Division is.

Division encourages us to stop listening, stop caring and eventually stop seeing the human being on the other side. When we surrender to it, fear grows, hatred spreads and conflict becomes war.

We cannot keep falling for it.
Media will twist the plot - often with division rooted at the core.
We need more people willing to become bridges - not fewer.

People who cross political, cultural, religious and racial divides with compassion.

People who choose humanity over hostility.

People who bring light into dark places without asking what they will receive in return.

Let’s be positive.

Let’s be joy-filled.

Let’s be peace-filled.

Let’s refuse to participate in hatred and division.

And let’s walk in love - together. 🤍

Because division is the issue.

LOVE is the answer.

LOVE • JOY • PEACE 🤍

This is what my heart keeps coming back to.

We can disagree.
We can ask difficult questions.
We can have honest conversations.

But we cannot allow our differences - political, religious, cultural or otherwise - to make us forget the humanity in one another.

Choosing love does not mean ignoring suffering or staying silent about injustice. It means refusing to let hatred have the final word.

No side is right when innocent children and civilians are harmed.
No belief is worth losing our compassion.
And no political divide should become greater than our shared humanity.

My identity is rooted in the love of Jesus - and I believe we are called to be bridge builders: to listen before judging, to seek understanding and to carry peace into divided spaces.

The world does not need more hatred.
It needs more compassion.
More courage.
More joy.
More peace.
More love.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…”
— Galatians 5:22

May we be known by the love we carry. 🤍
