I just see that the music video “Holding On” has reached over 100,000 views (link in bio). Making that video was such a crazy-wild-fun experience that always makes me laugh when I think back to it. I always thought that if I should ever do a kind of re-make music video, that it would be a mash-up of the Sid Vicious scene performing 'My Way' in “The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle” mixed with John Waters “Female Trouble”.
*************************************
The film was made on a zero budget but that didn't stop the resourceful punk inside me from finding a way to make it work and 'faking the damn thing until I made it'.

What was the most fun day of all was the audience scene. When shooting the audience scene, we would point to a place on the wall and say “This is where Sally is, so everyone look HERE”, be VERY excited! You want to CRY! YOU ARE SO HAPPY! Dylan of @some.ember was to play the 'Disgusted Popcorn Guy' (for the longest time I kept calling him “Popcorn Guy” after that shoot). He was to think “I feel disgusted. How could people like this shit?!” @the.adrian.bang was to play the bored-as-hell-drunk husband whose wife dragged him out that night. @n_i_n_aaaa and her friend were the tribute to the John Waters girls from “Female Trouble” where they are just rubbing lipstick all over their face in their excitement. I had the idea that they wanted to spell 'SALLY' 'DIGE' on their foreheads but because they did it in a mirror, it was written backwards on their heads which was part of the humour. For the gun being thrown in the audience scene, I wanted that same feeling and excitement when the women are trying to catch the bouquet toss at a wedding.
A few scenes got snipped like someone being shot up the ass but it was such a great experience and I am so thankful for every single person who was involved to make it happen in the end!
I really do miss working on films, but the Pandemic situation put a wrench in a lot of plans, so instead I have been working on finishing up the album. I can't wait when the day comes that I can get back to making films with friends again! Yeehaw!
