My six weeks at Interlochen have finally come to a close! This was a truly unforgettable experience and I can't really express how great it was coming to this camp! I'm going to sincerely miss everyone I met here and all the amazing experiences I've gotten to be a part of!

Wildfires in Canada cause the entire camp to become smoky for week 3, the air quality was really bad and we all had to wear masks

The first week of camp we played Prokofiev's Seventh Symphony and Song for Orchestra by Ruth Gipps under maestro Adam Glaser! The music for the first week was fanatastic and I was so happy to be able to be principal for both works!

The second week we performed Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet, Movement 4 of Beethovens Fifth Symphony, as well as Movement 1 of Shuberts Unfinished Symphony with the great Akiko Fujimoto! Getting to play three very iconic pieces for week 2 was super fun and I loved playing principal for Romeo and Juliet!

The third week we performed Christmas Eve Festivities by Mason Quinn, Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, and Danzon No. 2 by Arturo Marquez with the wonderful Chelsea Tipton! Playing principal on
Swan Lake was great and getting to perform Danzon for the first time was so fun!

The fourth week we performed Comet Coggia by Ingrid Stolzel and Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky/Ravel with the great Creston Herron!
Getting to play bass clarinet for Pictures made this concert absolutely unforgettable, it was one of the best concert ive ever played on with a fantastic conductor!

For week 5 we performed Pomp and Circumstance No. 4 by Elgar, the Mozart Oboe Concerto, and Pines of Rome by Respighi once again with Creston Herron! This was easily the most memorable concert of the camp. Getting to play principal on Pines and play the huge solo in the third movement is a feeling ill never forget! As well getting to spend another week with the greatest conductor ive ever had the pleasure to play with was amazing! Maestro Herron brings an energy to rehearsals that make it obvious how much he loves conducting, music, and his students!

For week 6 we performed Nabucco Overture by Verdi, Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens, Three Spirituals by Adolphus Hailstork,
