Our lightweight shelf shown during Milan Design Week.

Inspired by the structural logic of airplane wings and built around the idea of using as little material as possible.

A blast from the past. A MAZE
I just want to highlight a piece I did in 2017/2018.
This is one of the most sophisticated and best works I have ever done so far.
The value of this work and my artistic statement are not reflected by the recognition this piece got but I really don't care.

That one time I created a fully funcional gaming console made from carrara marble.
Simply called A Maze.

1st Pic: A Maze during a beautiful exhibition @boa_bunkerofart 2021

2nd Pic: Detail of the maze. It is inspired by a celtic maze. 7 concentric rings all being interconnected creating and endless loop of 7 like a week of work.

3rd Pic: Detail of the joystick. It is juxtaposing modernity and antique. The joystick as an outdated symbol of our modern society & the ancient marble create an amazing tension.

4th Pic: A total picture of A Maze consisting of the marble top, the invisible electrics & mechanics devolped by myself with great help by my friend Horst (rip🙏🏼). All held up by the smoked oak wood frame.

Pic 2 to 4 by @irrmischer_visuals

You will see a video of this piece in my next post.

Light is a medium that strongly affects the appearance of a space and thus an individual’s well-being. The idea for the Elevation Lamp originated during covid when we were confined to our homes more than usual. I became interested in investigating light as a medium to bring a refreshing change to our surroundings. The Elevation Lamp enables the user to easily set different light atmospheres, ranging from direct and indirect to decorative lighting.
