After Hours Til Dawn

🖤 SHM 🖤 Fotografiska 🖤

After Hours Til Dawn, 2022’de Es Devlin’in (@esdevlin ) prodüksiyon tasarımıyla kurulan post-apokaliptik şehir manzarasıyla başladı.

🇬🇧 Today, stage designs are as much a topic of conversation as the artists themselves; they have become an integral part of the artists’ visual identity and represent a design realm that goes beyond conventional concert setups. One of the most famous examples of this field, where architecture, lighting, digital imagery, sculpture, and performance converge in a single narrative, is the world-renowned artist The Weeknd (Abel Makkonen Tesfaye). After Hours Til Dawn began in 2022 with a post-apocalyptic cityscape created through Es Devlin’s production design. In the current interpretation by The Weeknd’s visual creative director, Alexander Wessely, the city evolves into an architecture that ages, crumbles, and ultimately turns to ash. This ever-changing world, unfolding across four acts, is conceived as a stadium-scale city that transforms in front of the audience’s eyes.
