Most agents celebrate at the closing table. I celebrate the journey it took to get there. This closing was over a year in the making. No credit repair needed. No major obstacles. Just a client who understood the importance of financial literacy, stayed disciplined, and put herself in a position to win. After looking at pre-owned homes, we realized the numbers simply made more sense with new construction. The builder offered an interest rate in the low 4% covered her closing costs, and provided incentives that were hard to ignore. When we compared everything side by side, new construction became the clear winner. Everyone celebrates differently. Before closing, I always ask my clients what would bring the most value to them. I let them decide their closing gift sometimes it’s Credit Repair. For her, it was something she’d wanted from day one. So as a housewarming gift, I upgraded all the hardware throughout her brand-new home to black finishes. This wasn’t about getting lucky. It was the result of patience, preparation, and making smart decisions long before she ever signed the final paperwork. It was about understanding the market, knowing her options, and being ready when the right opportunity presented itself. A year later, she got the keys and finally bought a damn house If you’ve been waiting to buy because of interest rates, you might be surprised by what’s available right now. Send me a message and let’s see what options make the most sense for you. Shout out to her parents Chuck and Toni for great parenting in financial literacy and the importance of Credit. First home at 27 we got a few more to go to build her portfolio and build generational wealth. #BuyADamnHouse #SanAntonioRealEstate #FirstTimeHomeBuyer #NewConstructionHomes #FinancialLiteracy
