From the 5/5 avy danger gloomy snow globe to few days of springtime 🌱🌿 Not only jumped straight into spring thermals after not flying the full size wing for months and somehow managed to stay high and not go straight to landing after my first cravatted collapse (no toggles drop for snowy peaks and ridges pics though) 😅🌪️ but also got reunited with the bestie, plenty baby and doggo cuddles, fattened up over Italian food thanks to the Italian familia, many sunny walks and the first jog post surgery and chronic flu, AND got to see the Russian queen for her bday 🥳 Fully reccommend 💚💜 #bassanodelgrappa #paragliding #italy #roadtrip #sirmione

The X-Apennines Paragliding Adventure is a unique guided flying journey across the mountains of central Italy. Over several days, pilots travel through the Apennines by paraglider, launching from one area and landing in another, experiencing the landscape, weather systems, and rhythm of the mountains from the air.

This is not a fixed-site course. It is a true flying adventure, designed for pilots who want to explore new terrain, fly cross-country in unfamiliar areas, and experience parts of Italy that few paragliders ever see.

It’s time to hold a daughter in my arms.
It isn’t really that difficult to bring a child into the world when everything flows in the most natural way possible. When love is what guides everything, when the heart prevails over thoughts, when the ego finally steps aside.

Perhaps it was meant to be her who would teach me so much more in this life.
I, with my insatiable curiosity since birth, now find answers in motherhood — or perhaps I should say parenthood — where she is the true protagonist: Olivia.

Love with Alexandra, enriched by the gift that life has given us, and the joy of being able to share this extraordinary experience together.
I’ve always thought that maybe everything I’ve been chasing wasn’t really the most important thing in my life.
The most natural activities — eating, resting, reproducing, loving — may well be the most authentic answer to our search for meaning.
Everything is whispered to us by an inner voice, a natural instinct.
Nature shows it to us every day, through all living beings that populate this world: the most meaningful experiences reside in our primary needs. Everything else is extra.

From this new and wonderful experience, these reflections were born.
I have nurtured a passion for flight since I was a child: when, in the arms of my loved ones, my face turned toward the sky, I would lose myself watching airplanes pass above. Then came my first handmade glider models, my first parachute jump, my first paragliding flight, and later, my first flight in an ultralight.
It has been a continuous quest for freedom, for growth, to quench my thirst for the sky.
Today, I share this passion — now turned into a profession — striving to pass on my experience to those who take part in my Coaching, Guidances, and Tours.
I continue to grow together with those who place their trust in me, along a path of learning that never ends.

From now on, I will also devote my time to trying to be a good parent, and to teaching Olivia the simplest yet greatest things: Respect, Love, and Freedom.
Just as my own parents — simple people — did with me, and for that I am immensely grateful.

This Italian Championship has been really not an easy event to handle. The weather where really bad with a lot of rain and those few flyable days were really difficult to fly and lead the tasks between all the good pilots that took part in this comp.

I wasn't so happy with my mistakes, the first task I was 2° and I got zero points after being shortly into the Airspace, during the only good task we had was all flight with the leading group flying pretty well and then going to ESS I choose to escape and fly to lead and my line didn't pay off so get to goal 5 min. Late and got 16th.

All in all, I end up 16th overall and 10th Italian.
Was another experience to put in the bag and look for the next event at PWC in Feltre with maybe my new setup!

SRS Gin Edition
📍Poggio Bustone, Italy

Despite only being able to fly three tasks due to weather, this competition in Poggio Bustone was one I will never forget. The flights we managed to fit in were stunning and the quality time with good friends was enriching. One of the best parts about XC competitions really is the opportunity to make memories with a community that feels more and more like family.

Flying for the @xcmag team, I finished 1st in the female category and 2nd in the midweight category. I am proud of my performance and grateful for yet another opportunity to learn and improve! Congrats to @openmind_ch for the overall win and the @gingliders team for the team win!

Thank you to @jo_mastermikael and @sportsclassracingseries for organizing and keeping everyone happy throughout so many rainy days🌧️ Thanks to @gingliders for supporting the event; the GTO3 is a machine. Lastly, thank you to all the other pilots for such a great time.
