my first and last year here.
It feels like time went by way too fast. I regret saying “ I wanna go home “ “ can we hurry up, im hungry.” Senior night was a reminder of how much this year meant to me. I’m forever grateful for every laugh, every rehearsal, and especially for the amazing people I found along the way. Coming into band, I never expected the people around me to change me in such a meaningful way. You’ve helped me grow into a better version of myself, and I’ll always be thankful for that. Even though this was my first year, you all made it feel like I belonged here from the beginning.
Thank you HH marching band for giving me a year I will never forget. 🎶❤️

six years, countless rehearsals, and one final downbeat. 🧡🖤
some of us started this journey together back in middle school, and some of us found this band once we got to high school. either way, we never could’ve known that the people we met on a field years ago would be as important to us as they wre today.
we’ve grown up together. we’ve watched each other go from nervous first-year marchers to leaders, mentors, and now seniors. we’ve spent countless hours on this field, on buses, in classrooms, and everywhere in between. we’ve laughed until our ribs hurt, struggled through the longest rehearsals, celebrated the best moments, and made memories that we know we’ll still be talking about in the future
somewhere along the way, this became more than marching band.

these people became our chosen family.
there’s something bittersweet about knowing that the field we’ve spent so many years on won’t always be a part of our everyday lives. there won’t always be another rehearsal tomorrow, another football game next week, or another parade to look forward to. but we’ll always have the years we spent here, and we’ll always have each other.

one last season. one last downbeat. and a lifetime of memories.

thank you to sara, olivia, the underclassman, our directors, and the band parents for making this night so special. in our hearts always♾️

SENIOR NIGHT!!! but the twist is that its not me watching my 17 yr old brothers walk up, its my brothers watching 17 yr old me walk up 😅 senior night is one of those grand nights that happen every year. it happens so often, yet every single person in the world has only experienced it once. so thank you hh marching band, thank you for giving us a once in a lifetime moment to always cherish :) 🖤🧡 (p.s. im still bawling my eyes out to what yall wrote me, i love yall 🥹🫶🏽)

i’ll never be able to explain in words what it felt like to see God take the wheel and make everything work out in the end when i was scared for weeks that i wasn’t ready to lead.

from the bottom of my heart, this youth camp has fulfilled me when i needed it the most. a time where stress and uncertainty had clouded my mind, God prevailed and remained victorious.

each and every participant and service team member has touched my heart last weekend in some way, shape or form. i’m so grateful to be blessed with such a fulfilling community that makes me so eager to serve the Lord. even with our little hiccups throughout the weekend, He made it all possible for us :D

i say this with my whole chest when i say i’d do it a million times again just to keep this feeling alive. i love my cfc youth, my second family.

my heart has felt so full since last sunday. i love you, camp unity :’)

To all my new friends in Pegasus, I want to say thank you all for making this the best season I’ve ever had!! There are countless experiences we shared together and Im so happy I was part of most of them. You all are great and talented, one of the best teams I could have ask for!! We grew so much throughout the season, so many reps, and tears, but we reached a level that none of our shows has ever been at. I am so glad I got to spin with all of you, it makes my heart so happy, that I cant even believe this is the end. I wish you all the best of the wishes, and thanks for making this season unforgettable 💛💛
