"I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything l do."

I’m pleased to have created this video about my friend @alexandre_deron and I was inspired to show a short portrait of him.

I spent a few days in his studio, capturing moments on the fly and representing his work as accurately as possible. No interviews or voice-overs, just images that speak for themselves. The idea was to be carried away by the music and the visuals.

Alexandre is exhibiting from september 14th to september 30th at the @galerieduchosal gallery in Paris
