When being called “extra” feels like a compliment, not criticism, that’s peace. | @case.kenny

Asked my kids to take a nice pic of me, got a masterpiece with two decent shots, some cropped headshots and a stunning close-up of my boots 🤪. Parenting level: candid chaos.

Don’t snooze your life away

Are you hitting the snooze button on your life? It’s easy to feel stuck in a routine with no passion. But, are you doing something about it? Or are you comfortable in it?

I’m not telling you to ditch your 9-5 or neglect your family so that you could go gallivanting and live a life full of so called adventures. But even in your day-to-day, you can find purpose. Assess where you are—do your habits and relationships align with your goals? Most importantly, are you aware of God’s plan for your life?

A fully awake person, even in the discomfort , seizes every opportunity to make a difference. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on what God has prepared for you.

But you have to get up, wake up from your slumber, and show up.

“A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭24‬:‭33‬-‭34‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Failure is not your identity.

Your failures do not define you. Remember, failure is just an event, not your identity. Yes! You do have to own your mistakes and experiences, because otherwise, they will own you. We are shaped by our past, but we don’t have to be prisoners of it.

It’s time to shift the narrative! If you can’t change your circumstances, you can always change your attitude within them. And, I get it, sometimes, You may not even be responsible for the things that have happened to you, but you always have the power to choose how you respond to it.

Amd you may say there’s no coming back form what I’ve done.. God can handle the weight of your failures. He is not surprised by them. But the question is will these failures become a roadblock to you? Or do you trust that God can turn them into your testimony?

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬
