This sundance felt different. not because it was the last dance, but because the vibes were high. The energy electric.

And _kj003 ‘s thrusters drinks at @11am had evert body ready for the day 😂😂😂

Sundance will always be my favorite film festival. 🤍
A place where independent film and documentary storytelling are given a national platform and where artists come to find community. ❄️✨

When I first started coming a decade ago I didn’t understand its importance and was focused only on work. Over time, I’ve realized it’s so much more: it’s a space for connection, storytelling, and independent filmmaking at its best! This weekend, I listened to filmmakers, journalists, writers, activists, and creators speak about the responsibility and courage behind storytelling.

One takeaway stayed with me: “Your life is your canvas.”

So don’t leave this earth without sharing your story.

Speaking your truth. And paint your canvas. 🎨🎥

Thank you, @sundanceorg for a decade of beautiful memories , connection, and reminding me why our stories matter. 🤍✈️#thelastdance #sundance2026
