Happy National Intern Day! 🌱🍉

This summer, we had the opportunity to welcome an outstanding group of interns from a variety of backgrounds into the world of agriculture.

They experienced firsthand that growing food is about much more than planting and harvesting. They saw the dedication, teamwork, logistics, and problem-solving that go into feeding families across the country. From the field to the packinghouse, they learned what it takes to keep one of America’s largest watermelon shippers moving throughout the season.

We’re grateful for their hard work, their curiosity, and their willingness to learn. Investing in the next generation of agriculture is one of the best ways we can help ensure a strong future for our industry.

Happy National Intern Day to all of the students helping shape the future of agriculture!

From the new friendships started, lifelong friends for glory departed, and the new chapters charted, leaves the most memorable semester I believe wholehearted.
