Tudorlea is a meticulous reimagining of a 1935 English Tudor home where heritage and contemporary refinement converge in quiet harmony.

Rich with character, this home reveals its grandeur through the blending of these elements, paying homage to its storied past and evolving character.

The home unfolds with measured drama, beginning with a grand entry hall that invites a lingering pause through to light-filled open-plan living, dining and private retreats, designed for connection, restoration and modern family living.

This stunning stairway to heaven was created starting with Mother Nature as the best backdrop one can hope for. Then it was layered with a custom pendant inspired by the sea by @alexearlstudio & framed by Belgium’s @designsofthetime fabric thanks to @indeko.studio. Bliss!

If you’ve ever wondered where interior designers find inspiration, here are three Australian artists whose work we keep coming back to at Fuurm Studio.

First is @elliat.rich • We’re really drawn to the way she combines materials like glass, stone, brass and timber into these beautifully layered pieces that feel almost like artefacts. Her work is deeply rooted in storytelling, and that’s something we’re always thinking about in our interiors too.

Next is @coco_flip • We love the balance they strike between playful and refined. Their lighting feels sculptural and artistic while still being incredibly functional, which is exactly the kind of layering we’re always looking for in our projects.

Another studio we keep coming back to is @alexearlstudio • We love the way they work with hand-cast glass, brass and timber to create pieces that feel both sculptural and timeless. Their work has a really strong sense of craftsmanship, which is something we always value in the spaces we design.

We’re always discovering artists whose work inspires us. If there’s someone you think we should know about, we’d love to hear your recommendation.

We love looking back at this Great Ocean Road weekend retreat, a serene coastal beach house that echoes its surroundings, breathing warmth and calm into every space, with subtle hints of colour throughout. We selected tonal timber finishes from @newageveneeers, inspired by the rich colours of the Otways and the beachside landscape. Honestly, who would want to leave?

You see seating, we see something that ties a space together.

We paired these stools with a shearling cushion to bring mountain elements to modern pieces.

The soft shearling adds a level of contrast to the stone and wood materials, which the client (and their guests!) also loved.

Soaking up all the natural light at Rosebud Residence ✨

The soft teal overheads cabinetry by @laminexau is gently echoing the lush greenery outside, an ode to the native Australian landscape that is surrounding us. Paired with sleek black cabinetry throughout, the space feels both elevated and effortlessly timeless.

It’s been a privilege to shape the interior design direction, furniture and styling for such a grand and timeless residence.

Endlessly grateful to my exceptional team for a beautiful day on site.
