4 things I’ve learned in 4 years being married to Alex:
1. Listening to spontaneous worship, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Ben Rector in the same day isn’t chaotic, it’s called ~range~
2. Upside down cups on the floor usually have spiders underneath them and should be picked up with caution
3. “British Kids Try…” on YouTube is high class entertainment for the end of a long day
4. There is no such thing as having too many coffee cups

What a treat it is to be married to @alexfranckesohn. 4 years down, so many more to go!

6 years ago we moved from LA to KY and today I fortunate enough to attend the Governors Prayer Breakfast with @andybeshearky

Connected on multiple levels with the keynote from @stephenboyken about helping tornado survivors. It reminded me of the many struggles we experienced with my mom after she became sick, which ultimately led to my TEDx talk about “The Hidden Power of Grief.”

Songs from the talented @alexfranckesohn lifted our spirits throughout, while her powerful rendition of “Amazing Grace” brought us home.

Hearing the stories from countless Kentucky beacons of hope was truly inspiring. It was an honor to watch the questions from our @gentsjourneyco card deck ignite such open and honest conversations.

Shout out to @cblazer86 of @ncfgiving for his continued generosity in all he does. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Will leave you with a favorite quote that hung in my late mother’s kitchen, “To the world you might be one person, but to one person, you might be the world.”

My Miss America journey actually started years ago as a Bluegrass Princess at Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen. I was just a little girl in a white dress watching the big girls walk across that stage, completely certain of one thing — one day I wanted to be there too.

Even then, I could tell there was something special about this organization. The confidence, the purpose, the way these women used their voices and their platforms.

Little did that little girl know… one day she’d get her chance too.❤️

A photo dump of happies over the several months. From traveling to San Fran with my honey, seeing Queen Bey in Chicago with my bestie, celebrating another one of my long-time best friends in her precious wedding season and alllll the fun that came along with it, watching my sweet boy grow and blossom into a frickin CUTIE tiny human, all of the sweet memories in between… I feel so blessed, and I don’t share often enough how grateful I am for this sweet life.

2025 RECAP
1. Alex is the life of the party. And watch out world— the Sohn’s are taking dance lessons. In 2026, we’re going to be moving different!
2. In January, my grandfather, passed away, but it wasn’t until summer that we got to gather as a family to mourn and celebrate him together. His niche in the columbarium has grape vines etched onto it. A fitting way to remember Papa!
3. Repped team Arbor Day for one last time.
4. Birthday cake courtesy of Alex and @katesaunders14 Saunders at their own wedding
5. A bear climbed on my car.
6. Alex became the most well educated person in our family!
7. Wrapped us 6 years working with middle schoolers at Southland, the last 2 alongside this team!
8. Spent Thursday nights being challenged by our community.
9. Finally got back to Cape Town to see our long lost friends!!
10. Anchored Down in Tampa to celebrate the greatest year in Vanderbilt football history with the fam!
