Broadway Lit Up The Rady Shell ✨

The San Diego Symphony was in full force with a sold-out audience belting Broadway showtunes beside the bay.

From “Tomorrow” and “Memory” to “Popular,” “Circle of Life,” “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina,” and more. . . Blockbuster Broadway! transformed @theshellsd Shell at Jacobs Park into Broadway’s biggest stage.

Bravo to conductor @evanroider and our Spot-On vocalists; @jesshendy, @alexgetlin, @scottcoulternyc & @boswellpiano and the extraordinary musicians of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra for an evening we will never forget.

This is what happens when Broadway meets the symphony.

We're still Defying Gravity... because we keep dreaming about this night.💚💭✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Blockbuster Broadway! From "Tomorrow" and "Memory" to "Popular," "Circle of Life," "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina," and an encore of "Aquarius / Let the Sunshine In," the entire San Diego Bay became Broadway's biggest stage. 🎭

Bravo to conductor Evan Roider, vocalists Jessica Hendy, Alex Getlin, Scott Coulter, John Boswell, and the San Diego Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable evening of music at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

Had the best couple of days in San Diego with Maestro Evan Roider and the San Diego Symphony at the Rady Shell. Always a highlight of the year. Great to see all our friends at @sandiegosymphony and to usher in America’s birthday with music. The morning’s rehearsal was packed and I scored a new hat! So fun.
