an end of an era ⋆‧°𓏲ּ𝄢

what a blessing it has been to work alongside such talented, beautiful souls. there’s been something so special about watching everyone’s minds come together to create six issues i feel endlessly lucky to have been a part of. truly my favorite part of the experience :)

these past 4 years with blush challenged me to grow in my work and opened me up to so many different perspectives, and for that i’ll always be grateful. fit is such a unique place where so many cultures, backgrounds, and stories intersect, and it’s been beautiful watching that come to life through these bodies of work.

this ending feels soo bittersweet. creating these issues came with loss of sleep, 0 free time, missed moments, and sacrifices, but i truly wouldn’t trade it for the world. through it all, i’ve made theeee most incredible friends and peers—people i deeply admire and feel so proud to have worked alongside. + i couldn’t be more proud of what we have all created together.

a few fav moments just for fun:

-splitting my pants mid-air while trying to hit a pose, perfectly captured by ms @amandadimaio
- @h3l3nachr1sta whipping up a hat for me with random materials found on campus while on set for my editor’s letter
-lighting @nyawrldd feet on fire with shoes made by @ta1ia_m
- @e4rth2chey breaking her glasses while attempting handstands after a shoot
-smacking strangers with backdrops on the subway
-inhaling $1 ikea hotdogs post-shoot
- @alliesimmss chasing me around with hyper-realistic teeth and hot-gluing them onto a baseball bat at 2am

+ on that note, i’ll leave you with this: support your local journalists. it’s more important now than ever ;)

link in bio to read @alliesimms and i last two issues!
