Instagram doesn’t allow enough pictures per post to even come close to the amount of things we saw and fun we had on this trip. Louisville to Meridian, MS to NOLA to Orange Beach, AL.
Road trips will forever be the ultimate family bonding; albeit the occasional fighting kids, sleepy mom and dad, and all the kitschy roadside stops along the way…these are the memories that last.

Last night was the annual @marchofdimes Signature Chef’s Auction. The event this year was held at Millionaire’s Row @churchilldowns. Lots of money was raised, lot’s of great company, and a standout showcase from some of cities best chefs and restaurants. For more information about the March of Dimes and their mission, check out www.marchofdimes.org.

Made a trip down to Bryson City, NC to see my brother and sister-in-law. Stopped in to @darnellfarmsnc and had some fun at Santa Land in Cherokee (an old retro style theme park that’s just as awesome as it is terrifying). Wish I got to see big bro more but a short visit is always better than no visit. #familytimeisthebesttime #mixedducks

We pulled up to the @nortonchildrens 2nd annual Sip, Savor, Soar event yesterday evening at Clark Regional Airport. All funds raised yesterday are being used to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Norton Clark Hospital. Always such a pleasure to do these events with the unflappable @cheftravisdingess and my beautiful wife @alexisbowe. Lots of great company and great chef’s all there to support the children of our community. *Can’t forget to mention what a great honor it was to sling some of our goodies in the VIP area!

We picked peaches and grapes yesterday. Not sure there’s anything better than a warm grape off the vine. @visithubers

This past weekend, @alexisbowe and I celebrated 10 amazing years of our marriage. We jetted off to NYC for a couple days. Here’s to a lifetime of more anniversaries and memories…🥂

The girls and I went out on a little forage yesterday, well, a big forage, that resulted in so so many ramps. 🌱 Being from West Virginia where this wild leek grows everywhere, this is my favorite time of the year…ramp season. I had a little tip from a wonderful woodswoman coworker on where to look. It took some time, but man did we cash in. A very important note, when you’re out hunting, only take 10-15% of the patch, we need this guys coming back every year!! 🌱 🌱 🌱 #ramps #daydateinthewoods #comingtoamenunearyou #forage
