So excited for the co-production of the season with @sohoshakes! We are in full swing with online rehearsals of Lysistrata and can't wait to share it with you.

The ancient Greek comedy by Aristophanes is a comic account of a woman's extraordinary mission to end the Peloponnesian War between Greek city states by denying all the men of the land any sex, which was the only thing they truly and deeply desired. Lysistrata persuades the women of the warring cities to withhold sexual privileges from their husbands and lovers as a means of forcing the men to negotiate peace—a strategy, however, that inflames the battle between the sexes.⁣

Join us for this co-production on October 22nd at 7:05pm EDT on
Facebook Live!⁣

Much Ado About Zooming. Had a great time trying out a weird thing with @themechanicalsnyc! It’s a strange time to be a human but nothing a few iambic (bene)dick jokes can’t help. Stay safe friends ❤️

Is my brother-in-law Dave the only person still decorating their X-Mas tree on Christmas day, after presents are exchanged?

One of us got hitched, one of us has argued 20 cases in front of the Supreme Court, one of us is the second in command at the FDNY and also ran a marathon the next day, one of us was the youngest female elected official in New York State, and one of us took the “vanity fair pose” way too seriously. @amyspitalnick , you are the fiercest fighter with the kindest spirit and it was such an honor to celebrate your and Dan’s love this weekend.
